Columbus Secures Spot in MLF Playoffs
Saturday's win over Detroit secured Columbus a spot in the MLF Playoffs! The team was down 3x6 at the half and finished the game 9x8 with the final goal scored by Braxton Snavley. It was questionable whether captain Junyor Zanelatto would be a contributing factor to the game as he had been nursing a right leg injury all week. Fixo, Zanelatto managed to score one goal and tallied 5 assists. Zak Boggs had 3 points and an assist. Brennan Williams made his MLF debut in the second... half and racked up another 3 points for the team as well as an assist. Golerio, Alex Talasca saved 70% of the shots on goal (nearly one every 90 seconds). It was a great group effort by all the Columbus Futsal squad. They're back to training this week focusing on defense, and other adjustments as they advance to the MLF playoffs in July.
